The IGEL Licensing Portal (ILP) and its infrastructure provide important services that IGEL customers rely on to manage and deploy their licenses. To secure license availability and ease further development, IGEL will migrate the ILP and its underlying infrastructure to Azure, a powerful cloud platform on April 22nd, 2021

What does this mean for IGEL customers?

While IGEL will keep service interruptions to a minimum, IGEL advise their customers not to plan large rollouts of new licenses on April 22nd and 23rd.

Should you as a customer use a firewall to restrict the internet access for UMS to selected IP addresses, please refer them to the section for updated addresses on IGEL Knowledge Base.

The benefits of this migration for our customers are load balancing and higher availability, which should result in minimal disruptions of service.
